Microbulk is an externally installed liquid gas tank that can hold gas longer. It’s a turn-key solution that makes gas supply easy and worry-free. Keep on reading to learn how Microbulk makes gas supply the best part of your job.

What makes microbulk different?

To learn what makes microbulk different, we need to take a look at the other gas supply options.

Gas Cylinders

Gas Cylinder Packs are one of the most popular types of gas supply. They gained this popularity by being quick to install, easy to use, and having no start-up costs. They are in gas form, so you don’t have to worry about losses and they have instant pressure; just turn the valve and you are good to go!

Like most things, gas cylinder packs aren’t perfect, and they come with their own unique set of difficulties. Cylinder packs are very hands-on, and they require constant monitoring and re-ordering which can lead to costly runouts. Cylinder packs are also not known for their space efficiency.

Minibulk

Minibulk is what we call ‘portable liquid gas supply.’ Minibulk stores gasses in a liquid form; these gasses need to stay extremely cold, so Minibulk acts as a really large thermos. Minibulk is favoured for its ability to store large amounts of gas in one cylinder. Minibulk is also slightly cheaper than gas cylinder packs. If you are using a good amount of gas, Minibulk also offers you the convenience of fewer changeouts per shift, leading to a relatively uninterrupted flow.

Although they are more convenient than cylinder packs, they still require operator involvement and monitoring. Minibulk is not the cheapest option and see’s vent losses of up to 2% per day.

Microbulk

Microbulk is an externally installed liquid gas tank that can hold gas longer, seeing less than 1% vent losses each day. Microbulk’s most loved feature is its real-time cellular/ethernet tracking; also known as telemetry. This allows us, the supplier, to know exactly when you are running low on gas and need to fill up. We call this automatic replenishment, sounds great right? Our system also allows you to see volume charts and replenishment records to find efficiencies.

The logistics of microbulk are also easy. Microbulk containers come in many sizes with options ranging from 400 to 5500-liter tanks. It’s also a turnkey solution, meaning we do everything: laying of the foundation, installation of tanks, set-up of monitoring systems and planning of the distribution line. It really is that easy, all you need is a 10ft by 20ft space outside of your building.

  1. Do you often experience runouts or shortages?
  2. Do you experience wasted labour hours due to staff constantly checking/changing tanks?

What do our customers think of Microbulk?

Why do we love Microbulk so much? Because our customers love it! Below are just a few of the glowing reviews about Microbulk.

“Microbulk has changed our operations because we no longer have to worry about the day-to-day of gas supply. By not having to track spare cylinders or place as many orders, we undoubtedly lower operating costs overall; if the ROI exists, Microbulk should be the priority for any use-case.” – Josh Manzie, Head Brewer at Lake of the Woods Brewing Company

"Having microbulk tanks for our laser gas needs has freed up our time to do what we do best. Gene and his team at Innovair make it next to impossible to run ourselves out of gas." – Carlos Wiebe, Diemo Machine Works Inc.

“We have been using the Microbulk system for several years now. It's efficient, convenient, and saves us a lot of time switching out the smaller bottled packs. We have live tank monitoring and very few issues. If we ever run into a problem, Innovair Industrial is very quick to respond and rectify the issue. We will continue using microbulk for years to come.” – Terran Goertzen, Bothwell Cheese

"Whenever we need expert advice, Innovair Industrial is just a phone call away, and their people are always willing to go the extra mile to support our business.
